Event Details:

The Moose Hide Campaign began as a BC-born Indigenous-led grassroots movement to engage men and boys in ending violence towards women and children. It has since grown into a nationwide movement of Indigenous and non-Indigenous Canadians from local communities, First Nations, governments, schools, colleges/universities, police forces and many other organizations-all commited to taking action to end this violence.

The Moose Hide event will be taking place in Strathmore at Kinsmen Park from 1pm to 4pm.

Agenda:

1pm: Land Acknowledgement

1:05pm: Blessing

1:20pm: Introduction of Moose Hide Campaign and the 10 Healthy Men

1:40pm: Hand Drum and Singing with a walk around the park

2pm to 3pm: Healing Garden Disscussion

3pm to 4pm: Indigenous Meal
